Also, I've been revisiting a lot of my collection recently. Today it was the album "Zenith" by Malachi Constant. The do sort of a math/punk thing. Don't ask me how, but it works.
And Format gave a great show the other night, BTW. Nice to hear a band that can sound as good as their studio incarnation and yet make it through the shitty, shitty sound mix they have at the Masquerade.
Diefantastischenvier: Formika- German Hip Hop. Kraute Hop as I like to call it.
DJ Terry Mullin: July Mix 07- Monthly download from Myspace. Hard Detroit ghetto techno.
DJ Sargon: More original tracks from myspace. He should be playing here in October(oops I'm back at it again). The guy does no wrong breakbeat, house, down tempo, and drum & bass.
A friend gave me an album from a band called 31Knots - The Days and Nights of Everything Anywhere. I was told it's math rock, prog rock, strange, however. Don't care what moniker you give it - it's good.
Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers. There's just something about Sway, Sister Morphine, I Got The Blues, Wild Horses, and Dead Flowers that is so comfortable...
