There are so many other fine TV shows that could use an updating.
A few that come to mind are "Space Giants" - which could certainly use some CGI lugo-men and a CGI Rodak - maybe "The Beachcombers" or even a hip-hop update of "The Electric Company".
Why not remake "Cannon" as a John Goodman vehicle? Where's the love for "Gidget", or "The Flying Nun?"
"Adam 12.1" anyone?
